HOPE HELP WANTED! The HOPE Ministry is in need of drivers to transport senior parishioners, who do not drive, to the doctor, shopping and weekend mass. We especially need drivers for Sunday 10:30 AM Mass. There are also openings for the HOPE Office. We need someone to answer the phone, schedule drivers, and to do simple clerical procedures. Interested persons will be trained. Please call the HOPE Office 609-268-1818 Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
The Holy Eucharist Program for the Elderly, called HOPE, is an outreach program for seniors. Transportation to weekend Mass, medical visits, grocery shopping, reassurance calls, companionship visits to the homebound and communion visits are some of the ways that HOPE volunteers serve others in the name of Jesus. Services are provided according to the needs of a person, physically, emotionally and spiritually in a private and confidential manner of trust and care. HOPE volunteers are available to help any senior citizen regardless of their faith tradition. Volunteers are available in the HOPE office to receive calls and provide assistance Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. At other times a message can be left on the answering machine and a volunteer will return the call the next working day.
