Lord, You are the Source of life (Psalm 35:10)
Respect Life Committee
As Catholic Christians, we are encouraged to find ways in our every day lives to support life in positive ways – not just with our families, friends, neighbors and co-workers but also with the elderly, the frail and chronically ill, the disabled and the unborn. In other words, we are challenged to be a voice for those who have little worth economically or politically. All life is precious and is God’s gift to us. We are not to judge the value of life by society’s standards. All human life, from conception to natural death, is made in the image of our God.
The Respect Life Ministry at Holy Eucharist seeks to provide education as well as to provide opportunities to help develop a culture that is life affirming. Our web page will provide new and informative materials each month that will help educate us all on issues such as stem cell research, abortion, euthanasia, disabilities, brain death and more.

“Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia. There may be legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not…with regard to abortion and euthanasia.” Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI
