Cantors

Cantors provide musical leadership at all principal parish liturgies including weekends, Holy Days, and other major celebrations.  Cantors are selected by audition only.

The Adult Choir

(High school age & older)

The Holy Eucharist Adult Choir regularly sings the liturgy at the 10:30 mass on Sunday mornings at Holy Eucharist. This all-volunteer group is made up of people just like you who come together every week to share their love of our Church’s rich musical and liturgical heritage.

The members of this group share a strong dedication to creating beautiful music for worship, while exploring a vast repertoire of sacred music from ancient to modern times. Members of this choir rehearse on Wednesday nights, enriching this ministry, while expanding their musical knowledge and having fun.
 
Members gain solid musical training, perfecting such skills as sight reading, ensemble singing, and basic music theory. An in-depth knowledge of liturgy is also gained while learning works from our Church’s treasury of sacred music. And the fun that is shared while praising God is by far the greatest of these rewards!

The Compassion Choir

The Compassion Choir sings for funeral liturgies, providing comfort and support through music to grieving families. This choir also sings for many of the morning masses for Holy Days.  Rehearsals for the Compassion Choir are held during the day, making it a good ministry for those who cannot be out during the evenings.

Instrumentalists

Instrumentalists are used at various Masses for special occasions.  The music office maintains a roster of available musicians for needs as they arise.
